I have been Bass Fishing for over
20 years, primarily the Sacramento Delta, and I was very skeptical
about the hype about El Salto in Mexico.
Well ... everything I heard is true. Lots of great fishing and
fantastic hospitality.
In the photo here this 8 pounder was caught on 6 inch green
zoom lizard with a ½ ounce sinker. I waited until the
bait hit bottom, waited a couple of seconds and then twitched
the bait. BAM, the bass couldn't stand it.
Unfortunately, I lost a lunker Bass that was so large that my
reel came off
the rod and the line broke under the boat.
I was so impressed with the fishing experience in April that
I am going back in May. This time we will be trying Lake Huites.
