Wild Bill,
I've been fishing South America for Peacock Bass for longer
than I can remember and I really enjoyed meeting and fishing
with you in December on those "secret rivers".
I just wanted to let you see the photo's of the two bigest peacocks
I caught in one day on the Amazon Explorer. You said we were
going to catch some really big fish, but I had no idea that
I would catch a 24 1/2 pounder and a 26 1/2 pounder in the same
day!
I also caught a 21 and 22 pounder and 6 other peacocks over
17 pounds that day! My previous best was two 25 1/2 pounders
in one day.
I'm 81 years old and I plan to come back and fish with you again
but I don't know if I can ever beat my new personal record of
51 pounds for two fish, but I want to try!
The food and service was really excellent as was my guide JoJo.
I would reccomend this trip to anyone who wants the very best
chance at a trophy Peacock! Thanks for putting me on these fish...I
will never forget it!
